Why would someone want to work in a place with low pay, miles of bureaucratic red tape and little latitude to be creative with their teaching methods? The country no longer thinks about teaching as a good career move.

In the past teaching was a good alternative if you didn't know what you wanted to do. People don't think that way anymore. It's not the teaching that is keeping people away from schools. It's about the structure of the system that keeps potential teachers from schools. We must change the school system so it attracts people who are passionate about teaching and then compensate those people based on their performance. But how do you attract them?

There needs to be some serious change in the way we think about educating the youth and young adults in our country.
